【摘要】:PromulgationsbytheFederalOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)in29CFR1910.1000designatethatcertainorganiccompoundsmustnotbepresentinworkplaceatmospheresatconcentrationsabovespecificvalues.Thispractice,whenusedinconjunctionwithPracticeD3687,willprovidetheneededaccuracyandprecisioninthedeterminationofairbornetime-weightedaverageconcentrationsofmanyoftheorganicchemicalsgivenin29CFR1910.1000,CDC-99-74-45andHSM-99-71-31.ApartiallistofchemicalsforwhichthismethodisapplicableisgiveninAnnexA1,alongwiththeirOSHApermissibleexposurelimits.FIG.1ActivatedCharcoalAdsorptionSamplingTube1.1Thispracticecoversamethodforthesamplingofatmospheresfordeterminingthepresenceofcertainorganicvaporsbymeansofadsorptiononactivatedcharcoalusingacharcoaltubeandasmallportablesamplingpumpwornbyaworker.AlistofsomeoftheorganicchemicalvaporsthatcanbesampledbythispracticeisprovidedinAnnex1.Thislistispresentedasaguideandshouldnotbeconsideredasabsoluteorcomplete.1.2Thispracticedoesnotcoveranymethodofsamplingthatrequiresspecialimpregnationofactivatedcharcoalorotheradsorptionmedia.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Aspecificsafetyprecautionisgivenin.
