【摘要】:1.1Thetermsandtheirdefinitionsgivenhereinrepresentterminologyrelatingtowearanderosionofsolidbodiesduetomechanicalinteractionssuchasoccurwithcavitation,impingementbyliquidjetsordropsorbysolidparticles,orrelativemotionagainstcontactingsolidsurfacesorfluids.Thisscopeinterfaceswithbutgenerallyexcludesthoseprocesseswheremateriallossiswhollyorprincipallyduetochemicalactionandotherrelatedtechnicalfieldsas,forinstance,lubrication.1.2Thisterminologyisnotexhaustive;theabsenceofanyparticulartermfromthiscollectiondoesnotnecessarilyimplythatitsusewithinthisscopeisdiscouraged.However,thetermsgivenhereinaretherecommendedtermsfortheconceptstheyrepresentunlessotherwisenoted.1.3Certaingeneraltermsanddefinitionsmayberestrictedandinterpreted,ifnecessary,tomakethemparticularlyapplicabletothescopeasdefinedherein.1.4Thepurposeofthisterminologyistoencourageuniformityandaccuracyinthedescriptionoftestmethodsanddevicesandinthereportingoftestresultsinrelationtowearanderosion.Note18212;Alltermsarelistedalphabetically.Whenasubsidiarytermisdefinedinconjunctionwiththedefinitionofamoregenericterm,analphabetically-listedcross-referenceisprovided.
